3.5Do I need an internet connection to use Make Plan?
An internet connection is needed to use the app as a whole: it is what lets you interact with maps, modify elements and download data in real time. The survey itself, however, tolerates having no network.

In practice on site
A basement or an isolated building doesn't stop you scanning: the capture is stored on the device. It is plan generation that waits for the network. On a poorly covered site, scan all your rooms, then generate the plans once back in coverage.
Don't uninstall the app or change device before your scans have synced: until synchronisation happens, the data lives only on the phone.
