8.2Can I annotate my 360° photos?
Yes. The virtual tour's Edit mode lets you attach an annotation to a specific building element, directly inside the immersive view.
Add an annotation
- Turn on Edit mode from the tour toolbar.
- Select the element to annotate from the list shown: wall, window, door…
- Tap the matching area in the 360° photo to place the annotation.
The element is then automatically geolocated and saved, which makes technical follow-up easier: the annotation doesn't float on an image, it designates an object on the plan.
Find your annotations again
Each 360° photo appears on the floor's 2D map, at its exact capture position; the current view is marked with a red icon. You can therefore reach your annotations either through the tour or through the plan.
When to use it
This is the tool for snags and points of concern: a crack, joinery to replace, a consumer unit to bring up to code. For remarks that aren't tied to a 360° view, use plan notes instead.
