8.1How do I create a virtual tour with a Ricoh Theta camera?

360° capture uses a Ricoh Theta camera connected to the app. Each photo is georeferenced on the floor plan, which makes the tour navigable rather than a plain gallery.

1. Place the viewpoint

Open the plan for the floor concerned, tap the pencil icon then Images, and choose 360 photos. A cursor appears: move it to the exact spot where the photo should be taken, then tap to confirm.

2. Connect the camera and shoot

A window opens automatically. Select Camera to connect to the Ricoh Theta, then trigger the capture manually from the app. The image is saved and automatically tied to its position on the plan.

Repeat for every viewpoint to cover. One viewpoint per room is usually enough; add a few in circulation areas to smooth the path.

3. Link the views together

From the floor list, open the virtual tour: it gathers every photo captured across all the building's levels.

Turn on Edit mode, tap an area of the 360° photo to link from — typically a door or an opening — then select the target floor and photo. Each link creates a transition between two points.

Step by step, those links form a continuous path in which your client moves as if on site. You can also annotate the views to document technical points.
