9.3Does the app provide energy performance information?

In France, the Building data button in the toolbar opens a layer dedicated to energy performance. The map colours buildings by their rating, and tapping the cursor generates the BDNB sheet for the building underneath.

If the location pin isn't sitting exactly on the building, move it before generating the sheet — otherwise the data will describe the building next door.

What the sheet contains

General information — main use, building type, use category, floor area, energy consumption in kWhPE/m²/year, greenhouse gas emissions in kgCO₂/m²/year, average height, year of construction, number of floors, altitude, number of dwellings, and compliance with the 2021 regulation.

Energy systems — heating energy and type, heating generator, presence of solar heating, domestic hot water generator and installation.

The sheet also states its basis (measured or estimated EPC) and the date it was issued.

Exporting

Once generated, the sheet can be viewed or shared as a PDF.
