13.2My scan came out wrong — what should I do?

An inaccurate survey almost always comes down to one of these causes. Work through them in order.

The room is too large. Scanning works well on rooms under 100 m². Beyond that, scan room by room then merge with Add room.

There isn't enough light. Below 50 lux, turn on the flash from the scan interface.

There are reflective surfaces. Mirrors and large windows disturb the sensor. Cover them if you can, or complete that area by drawing manually.

You moved too fast. Walk at a moderate pace, aiming at walls and corners.

Location was switched off. GPS aligns the plan with its real position; without it, the address and building data will be wrong. Turn it on before scanning.

If the result still isn't right, use Rescan at the end of the capture, or fix the plan by hand. As a last resort, contact support.

A reminder: scanning requires an Apple device fitted with the LiDAR sensor. On other devices, only import and drawing are available — see compatible devices.
