5.8How large an area can I scan at once?

Scanning works effectively on rooms under 100 m². Beyond that, survey quality degrades.

For a large home or an open floor, don't try to capture everything in one go: scan each room separately, staying on the same floor. The app then merges the rooms into a single plan through the Add room option, offered at the end of every scan.

Three factors drive the quality of the result:

• moving at a moderate pace, aiming at walls and corners;
• sufficient lighting — turn on the flash below 50 lux;
• no reflective surfaces (mirrors, large windows), which disturb the sensor.
