5.4What do I do once the scan is finished?

At the end of a scan, the 3D model of the room appears and three options are offered.

• Add room — starts the scan of another room and merges its data with the existing plan. This is how you handle a whole home: one room at a time.
• Generate plan — produces the detailed 2D plan from the collected data. Dimensions, element names and per-room areas are computed automatically.
• Rescan — starts the capture again in case of an error or poor quality.

Once the plan is generated, an arrow indicates north. Wall orientation is defined perpendicular to their surface, running from inside to outside.
