6.11How do I set the scale of an imported PDF?

An imported PDF has no scale until you give it one. Skip this step and everything you draw on top of it will be wrong.

1. Find a known dimension on the document: a dimensioned wall length, a door width — any measurement you are sure of.
2. In the PDF background panel, tap Select two points.
3. Place the cursor on the first point, then on the second, at each end of that dimension.
4. Enter the actual value in metres in the P1-P2 distance field.
5. Tap Apply.

The app recalculates the scale of the whole document. You can now draw and measure on top of it with correct dimensions.

The Reset button undoes the scaling if you picked the wrong dimension.
